Pianos of Princeton Trade-Up Policy
Your piano grows with you
A piano is a long-term relationship. The instrument that feels perfect for a beginner is rarely the one that suits an advancing player five or ten years later, and the right piano for a growing family changes as the music in your home changes. The Princeton Pianos Trade-Up Guarantee makes certain that growth never costs you the value of your original investment.

Why it matters
Buy with confidence.
You never have to worry about outgrowing your piano or guessing exactly which model fits a skill level that has not arrived yet. Start where you are today, knowing the door to a better instrument is always open.
Support every stage of playing.
From a child’s first lessons to conservatory-level repertoire, your needs will change. The Trade-Up Guarantee lets the instrument keep pace with the player.
Protect your investment.
A piano holds its place in your home and your budget. Instead of losing value the moment it leaves the showroom, your purchase carries forward in full toward whatever comes next.
Questions we hear often
What happens if we are moving?
We offer free pickup from the house the piano was delivered to. The customer will need to pay our delivery charge for the newly purchased piano.
What condition does my piano need to be in?
Reasonable, expected wear from normal playing is fine. We are simply looking for an instrument that has been cared for, not one in showroom condition. If piano has major damage, adjustment may be required upon our store receiving it.
Does this apply to a piano I bought somewhere else?
The Trade-Up Guarantee covers pianos purchased new from Princeton Pianos or Freehold Music Center. If you bought elsewhere, talk to us anyway. We are always happy to discuss your options.
