A Yamaha player piano plays itself, and the Disklavier Enspire is the system that does it. Every instrument on this page is a genuine Yamaha acoustic piano first, with hammers, strings, and a spruce soundboard, and the self-playing system is installed at the Yamaha factory during the build rather than retrofitted afterwards.
The range covers self-playing uprights, baby grands, and concert grands. Prices start at $26,699 for the DGB1K Enspire Classic baby grand and run through the CX, SX, and CF concert-grand collections. Come in and hear one play, or call (609) 403-6045 for a quote on any model and finish combination.
The DGB1K Enspire Classic is Yamaha’s entry point into the Disklavier range, a genuine GB1K baby grand with the self-playing system built in at the factory. It is designed for rooms where the piano is as much a centerpiece as an instrument. 500 songs are built in, thousands more are available through Yamaha MusicSoft, and Yamaha Piano Radio streams over 30 channels of piano music around the clock.
Enspire Classic is playback only, with no recording and no pedal movement, which makes it the right choice for homes, hotels, and commercial spaces where atmosphere is the point rather than performance capture.
The ENST takes everything the Classic system offers and adds a full dimension of musical capability. These instruments record and play back with complete fidelity, capturing not just the notes but the exact speed of every key attack and release, and every nuance of pedaling. The patented DSP Servo Drive System and optical sensor technology work together to reproduce performances with a precision that other player systems cannot match. The ENST also includes Yamaha’s Silent Piano system, so you can practice in headphones and hear a binaural CFX concert grand at any hour. Available across baby grands, CX grands, and U Series and YUS Series uprights, there is an ENST model for virtually every Yamaha instrument on the floor.
The Enspire Premium Pro brings that same Pro-level Disklavier system to the finest instruments Yamaha builds. Here it lives inside the premium SX Collection and the hand-crafted CF concert grands, up to and including the flagship CFX. Every dynamic nuance, pedal motion, and hammer movement is captured and reproduced on a piano already voiced for the concert stage and the recording studio. For the collector, the institution, or the performer who wants the ultimate reproducing instrument, this is the top of the Yamaha line.
Three systems, one decision. The difference between Classic, Standard, and Pro is not sound quality, it is what the piano can do: play back only, record what you play, or reproduce a performance at the highest resolution Yamaha builds. The chart below shows which instruments each system is offered on.
Yamaha’s entry into the Disklavier world. The DGB1K ENCL plays back 500 built-in songs and thousands more on demand, ideal for homes and venues where the piano sets the atmosphere. Playback only.
The all-rounder. ENST records and reproduces your own playing note for note, adds Silent Piano practice through headphones, and is offered across the widest range of uprights and grands.
The reference standard. ENPRO captures and recreates a performance at the highest resolution Yamaha offers, paired with the CX professional grands and the premium SX and CF concert instruments.
