Yamaha B3 Upright Piano
The Yamaha b3 piano is a 48 inch tall upright, it is the largest piano in the B Series. Featuring a larger back post than the b2 & b1, a larger sound board, a piano hammer with underfelt, and a larger capstan, the b3 is a semi-professional piano at a great value.
A Great Foundation
Supported by five sturdy wooden back posts and a strong cast iron frame, b Series pianos are endowed with Yamaha’s renowned pure, clear tone. The b3 features a larger back post than the rest of the b series. Every Yamaha upright piano also features a full perimeter V-Pro plate.

B3 Piano Hammer
an underfelt hammer is added to the b3 to give the 48 inch tall upright a crisper, clearer tone. This is a similar piano hammer to the Yamaha U1, which the b3 shares a large number of similar components of. The b3 piano key shank features a taller capstan for a larger tonal range.

Produced at a Yamaha factory in Indonesia from a scale design developed in Japan, b Series pianos are Yamaha’s most affordable entry-level uprights. Although reduced production costs allow budget-friendly prices, Yamaha makes no compromises in the materials and workmanship that go into these exceptional uprights.
